This tutorial was
written for those who
have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.
It was written by me on
June 4, 2009 and comes from my own creativity.
Any resemblance to
another tutorial is purely coincidence
Supplies needed:
PSP 9 (any version
will work)
Tube of choice.
I am using the fantastic artwork of

Supplies: no supplies provided
1. Open chain frame tube.
Shift D to duplicate, delete the original. Working on
the copy, image resize, resize all layers to 500 X 501
pixels. Image, Canvas Size, 600 X 600 as follows:

2. Add a new Raster Layer, drag below
chain frame layer. Flood fill with white. Copy
paper 3 from the kit, paste as a new layer.
3. Layers, New Mask Layer, From
Image, choose WSL_Mask 33 from dropdown, invert not checked, apply.
Mask Delete, Merge Group
4. Add a new layer. Make the
background white and the foreground null in the materials
palette. With your preset shape tool set as this

draw out a circle. The circle should
run approximately along the chain links (half way between
upper and lower chain). Click inside the circle with
your magic wand to select. In the layer palette
click on the + sign on the vector layer and X out the
ellipse, convert the vector layer to raster layer. Do
not deselect.
5. Open Paper from kit, resize to
500 X 500, copy, paste as a new layer, selections invert,
delete. Do not deselect
6. Copy face tube, paste as a new
layer as shown, hit delete, Deselect.
7. Select chain frame in the layer
palette, Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow as follows

8. Copy full length tube, paste as a
new layer to left side as shown. Drop Shadow as above.
9. Open Word Art, resize by 80
percent, copy, paste as a new layer. Drop Shadow as before.
10. Open Shoe. Resize by 50
percent. Image, Mirror, Copy, paste to right lower as
shown. Drop Shadow
11. Open belt. Resize by 50
percent, and then by 80 percent. Copy, paste as a new
layer to left lower as shown,
Image rotate this layer only left 18
12. Resize if desired.
13. Add copyright information
14. Layers, merge all, file, export
as a jpg.
