This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.
It was written by me on December 4, 2010 and comes from my own creativity.  It is meant to be
a guide and you may make make changes to it make a tag that is uniquely yours.  I retain the copyright to the tutorial, but any tag you make is your own, and you can do with it as you wish.   Any resemblance to another tutorial is coincidental.
 

Supplies needed:

PSP 9 (any version will work)

Tube of choice or use supplied tube by Valerie Tabor Smith Here with permission from the artist

Fonts of  choice.  I used Copperplate Gothic Bold and Vivaldi

Plugin:  Penta Garbage Collection Jeans (optional) Here

Open the template in Paint Shop Pro.  Shift and small d to duplicate and delete the original.  We will work on the copy.

Open mask and tube and minimize for now.  Hide all layers except the background layer, right click and promote to raster.

Copy paper 10 from the kit and paste as a new layer

Layers, new mask layer from image, find Monti's Blindsmask  in the dropdown
 and apply, Source Luminance Selected, Invert Mask Data checked 
Layer, delete, yes to the question and apply. Delete Mask Layer, merge group

Select glittered rectangle, Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow

Select large rectangle with  the magic wand.  Copy paper 11 and paste as a new layer.  Selections, Invert, hit delete.  Delete large rectangle

Select glitter rectangle, Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow as above

Select red rectangle 2 with  the magic wand.  Copy paper 30 and paste as a new layer.  Selections, Invert, hit delete.  Delete red rectangle 2

Select the remaining glitter layer and drop shadow as above

Select red raster rectangle 1, flood fill with color #7c1100

Select the brackets layer, flood fill both brackets with color #6dc78d

Effects, Plugins, Penta, Jeans

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow as above

Selections, Select all.  Copy tube, paste as a new layer as shown.  Selections, Invert, Delete.

Drop Shadow as before.

With the text tool and stroke color #173a22 and fill color #ffffff, settings as follows

type the words "The Best Gifts Come", placement as shown.  Drop Shadow as above.

With the text tool and stroke and fill both white, settings as follows

type the words  "In  Small Packages", apply as shown.  Image, Rotate. free rotate, left by 28, this layer only.  Drop shadow.

With the text tool and stroke and fill both color #173a22, add your name at same settings

If desired accessorize kit with elements of choice (see tag below)

Resize tag to 600 pixels by 508 pixels

Add copyright information

Hide the white background layer in the layer palette.  Merge remaining layers visible.

Save as a png image
