ADORE YOU

This tutorial was written for those who

have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.

It was written by me on November 12, 2008 and comes from my own creativity.

Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidence

Supplies needed:

PSP X2 (any version will work)

Tube of choice.  I am using the fantastic artwork of

Steve Baier.  You can purchase his work at Up Your Art here

Monti's Blinds Mask (included in supplies)

Wonderful PTU scrap kit “Thoughts Of You” from Alane at

Inspired to Dream Scraps.  You can purchase it here

Brushes of choice (optional)

Font of choice (I used Script MT Bold)

Supplies:  Here

Open tube and mask and minimize them for now.  Open scrap kit.

Copy frame 07 and close out the original.  Resize, Uncheck Lock Aspect Ratio
and resize to 400 pixels width and 500 pixels high

Image, Canvas Size,  600 x 600 pixels - 50 pixels top and bottom

and 100 pixels left and right.  Add a new layer, drag to the bottom,  and flood fill with white

Highlight frame layer again, Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow

5, -5, 40, 7.

Highlight bottom layer, add a new layer, and paint it a light color or choose a light

paper from the kit.  (I used color #ffdfe6).  Effects, 3D Effects, Weave, 3,6,8,white, fill gaps checked.

Layers, new mask layer from image, find Monti's Blindsmask and apply.  Layer, delete, yes to the question.  Merge group.  Duplicate Mask layer, Image, Rotate, Free Rotate, Left 90

Highlight the frame layer.  Select inside frame with magic wand.  Selections, Modify, expand by 2.  Open the tube.   Copy, paste as a new layer.  Selections, Invert, Selections, Float, Selections, Defloat.  Using the eraser tool carefully erase the unwanted tube bits (her shoulder),  Selections, None, Drop Shadow as before.

Add brushes if desired.

Open Butterfly Bling 1.  Resize by 50 percent 2 times, then by 80 percent, copy, paste as a new layer.  Image Flip.  Image, Duplicate, Image Mirror, Image Flip.  Add drop shadow to each layer as before. 

Open bow 02.  Image, Resize, by 50 percent 3 times, then by 80 percent once.  Copy, paste to one frame corner as shown.  Duplicate layer, Image Flip, Duplicate Layer, Image Mirror, Duplicate Layer, Image, Flip.  Add a drop shadow to each layer as before.

Image Resize all layers to 500 x 500 pixels or size of choice

Add copyright layer. 

Add name as desired.  Save tag as a jpg.
