DREAM A LITTLE DREAM

This tutorial was written for those who

have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro but an advanced beginner can do it.

It was written by me on August 3, 2008, and any similarity to an already

published tutorial is strictly coincidental

Supplies needed:

PSP 12 (any version will work)

Tube of choice.  I am using the fantastic artwork of

Keith Garvey.  You can purchase his work at MPT here

FTU Scrap kit “Chic” from Bel Vidotti  at

Bel Vidotti Scraps.   Download the kit Here

Mask 44 by Zuzzanna.  Get it Here

Font of choice (I used Forte - included with Windows)

Plugin:  Penta Dot and Cross Download It

(You'll find it in the Garbage file)

Supplies:  No Supplies Needed

Open tube and mask and minimize it for now.  Open scrap kit.

Open a new transparent image 700 x 500 pixels.  Flood fill with white 
 

Select paper from kit (I'm using chic p12), copy and paste as a new layer

Effects, Plugin Effects, Penta, Dot and Cross with these settings

amount    72
cross distance 10

cross width    2 

Click Ok

Layers, new mask layer from image,  find the zuzzanna 44 mask (invert mask data checked) and apply. 

Layer, delete, yes to the question. And merge group

Select tube you are using, copy and paste as a new layer.  Move over toward the left side of the larger rectangle (see my tag)

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow with these settings

Vertical   5

Horizontal   5

Opacity   50

Blur   5

Color   Black

Select dangling item from your kit, (I used chice12), copy, and paste as a new layer to the left side of the tag (see mine).

Drop Shadow as before.

Copy and Paste butterfly of choice as a new layer, arrange on left side of tag as shown.  Layer, Duplicate,

Image Mirror.  Move toward top of tag.  Select the butterfly on the left again, Image Rotate, Free Rotate

Left by 45.  Drop shadow as before on both butterfly layers

Choose 2 flowers from the scrap kit.  I used chice37 and chice38

Resize by 50 percent, then again by 80 percent,  Arrange like mine or as you like.
Drop shadow as before

Optional:  I colorized and resized a diamond and used it as a flower center on each flower.

Copy and paste choice31 love ribbon.  Do not add a drop shadow

Resize all layers to 600 X 429 pixels

Add copyright and licensing information

Add name with font of choice,  Drop Shadow

Layers, Merge, Merge All 

File, export as a jpg.
