Easter Egg Hunt

This tutorial was written for those who
have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.
It was written by me on March 18, 2009 and comes from my own creativity.
Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidence
 

Supplies needed:

PSP 9 (any version will work)

Tube of choice.   I am using the fantastic artwork of Suzanne Richards

Supplies:  no supplies provided

  Open egghunt frame 3.   Image, Canvas Size, Resize as below

Image Rotate, Free Rotate, Right by 90

Using your selection tool on rectangle make a selection like this

Copy paper 5, paste as a new layer, selections invert, hit del on keyboard.  Select none.

Using your selection tool on rectangle make a selection around the paper 5 blue layer

Effects, Plugins, Mura's Filter Meister, Clouds as follows

Deselect and drag this layer below the frame layer

Add a new layer, flood fill with white, drag to the bottom in the layer palette

Add a new layer, fill with a blue shade to match the blue background layer

Layer, New, Mask Layer from image.   Find the Montis Bindsmask1 Mask and apply with
invert mask data checked.  Layer, delete, yes to the question. And merge group

Open fence, Image resize by 80 percent, then by 90 percent, copy, paste as a new layer.
See mine for placement.  Drag below frame layer

Open Clipart 9, resize by 50 percent.  Image, mirror, copy, paste as a new layer to bottom
left corner of frame (see mine for placement.)  Layer, Duplicate, Mirror, arrange in right
corner as shown

Open Clipart 7, resize by 50 percent, copy, paste as a new layer in the middle at the bottom frame
between 2 clipart 9 eggs.

Resize brad 4 to 50 percent, copy, paste as a new layer to center of frame bow on left side

Resize crisscross bow 3 by 80 percent, copy and paste to center top of frame

Open Clipart 3 (Egghunt sign)  Adjust Hue and Saturation, Colorize as follows:
 

Copy, paste as a new layer as shown

Image, Canvas Size, Resize width 800 pixels, height 700 pixels.  Flood fill background white

Resize clipart 1, copy, paste to left side as shown

Copy main tube, paste to right side as shown

Effects, 3D Effect, Drop Shadow as follows on each layer

Choose text tool with stroke color white width 1, font of choice, size 66 and fill color #e84e9a
Type name as shown

X out the bottom background layer.  Layers, Merge, Merge Visible

Image, Resize, Resize to 560 wide by 490 high

Add copyright layer

Layers Merge, Merge all

That's it!  You're done
