Sweet Candy

This tutorial was written for those who
have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.
It was written by me on March 28, 2009 and comes from my own creativity.
Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidence
 

Supplies needed:

PSP 9 (any version will work)

Tube of choice.   I am using the gorgeous artwork of Ismael Rac

EBD Mask36 by Rachel at Enchanted by Darkness  here (supplied)

SSAM_Tag Template 13 by Mirella Here (supplied)

2 fonts of choice

Supplies:  Here
 

Open mask, minimize for now

  Open Template.  Duplicate and delete original. 

X out Raster 7 on the Layer Palette

With Raster 1 selected in the layer palette, copy paper 18 from the kit,
and paste as a new layer

Layer, New, Mask Layer from image.   Find the EBD Mask 36 Mask and apply with
invert mask data not checked.  Layer, delete, yes to the question. And merge group

Copy lace, paste as a new layer above mask layer

With the magic wand select inside each of the long vertical slats (Raster 4),
selections, modify, expand by 1, copy paper 04, paste as a new layer.
Selections, Invert, Hit Del on keyboard

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow as below

Delete Raster 4 on the layer palette

Select Raster 3 rectangle with the magic wand, selections, modify,
expand by 1, copy paper 11, paste as a new layer.  Selections, Invert,
Hit Del on keyboard.  Delete layer 3
 

On Raster 6, carefully select inside the dots with the magic wand.  Selections,
Modify, Expand by 1, use your paint brush to fill with white.  Do the same
on copy of Raster 6

Select Raster 2 with the magic wand, Selections, Modify, Expand by 1
copy paper 15, paste as a new layer, Selections, Invert, Delete.  Do not
deselect.  Select Raster 2 on layer palette, reduce the opacity to 70

Open Splatter.  Resize by 50 percent.  Copy. paste above Raster 3
Selections, Invert, Delete.  Drop Shadow as before.  Deselect

Copy main tube, paste as a new layer.  Drop shadow as before 2 times


Resize 3 eggs by 50 percent 2 times.  Copy each, paste as a new layer as shown.
Duplicate each egg, mirror.  Arrange as desired, drop shadow as before on each egg.

With the text tool and white type sweet on each side of rectangle as shown

Add name using color #f3568c

Image, Resize, Resize all layers to 525 X 525 pixels

Add copyright

Layers, Merge, Merge Visible

Save as a png file

That's it!  You're done
