Gothic Hearts
This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro. It was written by me on May 23, 2009 and comes from my own creativity. It is meant to be simply a guide and you are free to make changes, add to or subtract from to make a tag uniquely yours. While I retain the copyright to the tutorial, any tag you make is your own Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidence
Supplies needed:
PSP 9 (any version will work) Plugins: Photo Effex Scanlines Here Eye Candy 4000 There are no supplies provided for this tutorial
Open template.
Duplicate and delete original. Open mask and font, Select Layer 2 in the layer
palette. In the materials palette select color #4f3194
background color Select Layer 3, flood dill with black, Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel, as shown below
Then Effects, 3D Effects, Drop
Shadow as shown below
Select Layer 2 in the layer
palette. Effects, Plugins, Photo Effex, Scanlines as shown
Select frames background in layers
palette. With magic wand click inside frames, Using the point to point selection
tool make a selection around one rectangle of the frame Select the frames layer with the
magic wand. Selections, Modify, Expand by 1.
Effects, Plugins, Photo Effex, same as above but tick vertical. Copy main tube, paste as a new layer. Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, as before. With color #6b49c1 click on each
heart layer and with the flood fill tool click just once in the
center Image, Canvas Size. 600 X 600 as
shown below
Select Main tube layer. Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4, Gradient Glow as follows
Highlight Background in the layer
palette, Layers, Add a new Raster Layer, Flood fill with In the materials palette make
both stroke and fill color #f7f1f1. At the right top of frame add
gothic angels in the same font and color, but smaller. Resize if desired. I left mine the same size. Add copyright information X out white background layer. Save as a png image. That's it! You're Done Hope you enjoyed this tutorial
