This tutorial was written for those who

have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.

It was written by me on October 24, 2008  and comes from my own creativity.

Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidence

Supplies needed:

PSP X2 (any version will work)

Tube of choice.  I am using the gorgeous artwork of

Sonia Roji.  You can purchase her work at MPT here

Mask WS133.  You can download it Here

Free scrap kit “Ruby” from Monti at

Open tube and mask and minimize them for now.  Open scrap kit.

Open a transparent image 600 x 600 pixels and flood fill with white

Copy Paper, Ruby Roses from the scrap kit, and paste as a new layer

Layers, new mask layer from image, find the WSL133 mask and apply, Invert Mask Layer NOT checked.  Layer, delete, yes to the question. And merge group

With preset shape set on circle and width 54, stroke white, background null, draw a circle (hold the shift key down while drawing for a true circle) as shown.  Objects, Align, center in canvas.  Adjust where needed to leave about one inch of ruby behind white ring.  Convert to Raster layer.

With magic wand select inside the ring just made, Selections, modify, expand by 1, copy scrap paper cream flowers 1, paste as a new layer, selections, invert, hit delete on your keyboard.   (the ring is now covered with floral paper).  X out the bottom 2 layers, and layers, merge, merge visible the remaining 2 layers.  Effects, 3D effects, Drop Shadow, 5, -5, 60, 10

Copy Doodle -Ruby, paste as a new layer.  Duplicate this layer, Image, Mirror, Image, Flip.  Arrange the 2 layers (see mine).  Merge the 2 doodle layers together, drop shadow as before.  Drag doodle layer below the next 2 layers. 

Open your tube, resize and mirror if necessary.  Place on  circle frame.  See my tag for placement.  Drop Shadow same settings as before.

Copy, paste Ribbon Pinned - Cream as a new layer.  Resize this layer by 80 percent, arrange as shown.  Drag below tube layer.  Drop shadow as before.

Open silver heart charm, copy, paste to ribbon pin, erase a bit so it looks like it is hanging from the pin.  Drop shadow as before

Copy, paste, resize two flowers to the right frame.  Drop shadow as before.

 Add copyright layer.

Add name, Charlene, 72 stroke 1 color #f8ecd6, fill color #7f0f25.  Drop shadow as before

Image Resize all layers to 500 x 500 pixels or size of choice

Save tag as a jpg.
