Vine Beauty

This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.

It was written by me on June 15, 2009 and comes from my own creativity.  It is meant to be

 a guide and you are free to make changes, add to or subtract from it to make your tag

uniquely yours.  While I retain the copyright to the tutorial, any tag you make is your own.

Any resemblance to another tutorial is coincidental.

A Quick and Easy Tutorial
 

Supplies needed:

PSP 9 (any version will work)

Tubes by artist of choice.  I am using the beautiful artwork of
Jennifer Janesko.  You can purchase her work, and a license to use it  Here

There are no supplies provided for this tutorial

Open mask and minimize

Open a new image 700 pixels by 700 pixels, flood fill with white

In the materials palette make the foreground color #4c628e and the background color #ec8d64

Change foreground to gradient with these settings
 

add a new layer and flood fill with gradient

Layers, new mask layer from image, find WSL_17 in the dropdown and apply,
Source Luminance Selected, Invert Mask Data not checked  Layer, delete, yes to the question and apply.

Open leaf frame 2 from the scrap kit. Resize width 700 pixels by 651 pixels.
Image, Canvas size, resize canvas to 700 X 700 pixels as below

 Paste as a new layer.  Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow as follows

Select Ivy String.  Resize to  348 pixels wide by 550 pixels high, copy,
paste as a new layer to left side of frame as shown in my tag.  Drop Shadow.

With the selection tool set to ellipse make a selection around the center frame circle.
Make the lower selection as close to lower part of frame as possible - upper
doesn't matter as much.

Copy tube of choice, paste as a new layer.  Selections, Invert, Selections, Float,
Selections, Defloat.  With the eraser tool erase the selected area at bottom of tube.
Deselect.  Drop Shadow as before

Resize, copy, paste any accessories desired from the kit.

Add name in desired font

Resize all layers to 500 X 500 pixels

Add copyright information

X out white background layer.

Save as a png image.

That's it!  You're Done
