PEACE, JOY, and LOVE

 






 

This tutorial was written for those who
have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.
It was written by me on December 9, 2008 and comes from my own creativity.
Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidence

 
Supplies needed:

PSP X2 (any version will work)
Tube of choice.  I am using the stunning artwork of Barbara Jensen.

Sabre PJL Scrap Kit by Sabre.   Get it here
Zuzzanna mask Winther.  Get it here
Font of choice (mine is Renaisssance.  Get it  here)
 

Supplies:  No supplies provided for this tutorial

Open mask and minimize for now

Open a new image 750 X 500 pixels.  We will resize later
Flood fill with white

Open frame 1 from the kit.  Resize to 400 X 400 pixels

Copy, paste as a new layer.  Move to left side.  Layer, Duplicate,
Layer, Mirror.  Arrange so that the two frames overlap at the center.
See placement on my tag.  X out the bottom layer and merge the two frame
levels together as one.

Open Sabre Wreath 1,  resize by 80 percent.  Copy, paste as a new layer
to right frame

With magic wand select inside of left side frame, Selections, Modify, Expand by 2,
Copy paper 3, paste as a new layer.  Selections, Invert, Selections, hit invert on the
keyboard.  Selections, None.  In the layer palette drag this layer below the frame layer

Select left side of frame again, open main tube, resize as needed, copy, paste as a new layer
Move to the left of the frame.  Selections, Invert, selections float, selections, defloat,
wit the eraser tool erase any tube below the frame (see mine)

Open Sabrebanner 1.  Resize by 80 percent twice.  Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen
Copy, paste as a new layer to center of frames

Select Raster 1 (the white layer), open paper 1, Image rotate, free rotate, right by 90

Copy, paste as a new layer

Layers, New Mask Layer, find zuzzanna winther mask in dropdown, apply mask, with invert mask data checked. Mask delete, merge group.

Image, Resize to 650 X 433 pixels

Add copyright information

Add your name

And you're done!
