Soft and Pretty

This tutorial was written for those whohave a working knowledge of PSP

SUPPLIES NEEDED

PSP 12 (any version will work)

2 Tubes of choice from same artist.  I am using the fantastic artwork of
Jamie Kidd.  You can purchase her work at Creative Image Licensing Management (CILM)
and visit at her website at http://www.jamiekiddart.com
Do not use the same tubes unless you have paid for them and have a license to use them.

Mask of Choice

Free scrap kit “Teal Dreams” from my friend LilMz -
she is allowing me to provide the kit in my supplies.  Thanks hun

silver chain (supplied)

star ani animation if desired (supplied)

Font of choice (I used Pharmacy) (supplied) 
 

Supplies:  Get Them Here
 

Open tubes and mask and minimize them for now.  Open scrap kit.

Open a transparent image 700 x 500 pixels and flood fill with white

 Add a new raster layer.  load teal paper from the scrap kit into the materials palette
as a pattern.  Flood fill raster layer with teal  

Layers, new mask layer from image, find the Josy Mask5 mask and apply. 
Layer, delete, yes to the question. And merge group

Open the double frame from the scrap kit, copy and paste as a new image.   Apply a light drop shadow. 

 Select inside both sides of frame with magic wand.  Selections, Modify, expand by 2. 
Copy slate paper from scrap kit and paste as a new layer.  Selections, invert, select none. 
Drag this layer below frame layer.  Select frame layer again, Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow
0, 0, 40, 8

 With your magic wand click inside the first side of your frame to select, Selections, Modify
Expand by 5.  Copy and paste tube as a new layer.  Arrange as you like.  Selections Invert, Hit delete on your keyboard
Select inside second half of frame and repeat with second tube.

Copy teal bow from the scrap kit and paste in right upper corner.  Duplicate and Image, Mirror

 Copy silver chain, paste as a new layer.  Drag below ribbon layer.  Copy charm from kit
paste as a new layer.  Arrange so it looks like it is dangling from the chain.  Erase a bit of the
eyelet so it appears the chain is hooked on the chain.

X out all layers except the chain and charm layers, layers, merge, merge visible.  Image, Mirror

Clear the X's from all layers.

  Copy, paste flower twice to top left (see my tag).   Same drop shadow as before.

Resize tag to 550 pixels width and 393 pixels height

Add copyright information

Add name at bottom of tag.  I used Pharmacy font with white in the foreground and #f1f4f5 in the background.
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow 1, 1, 40, 1

Export tag as a jpg.  If no animation is required you’re done.  Thank you for trying my tut

Animation
 

Open your jpg tag in PSP Animation Shop.  Duplicate 6 more times so there are 7 frames total

Open star ani.  (Note that it also has 7 frames)

Click on star ani to make it active, Go to Edit, Select All, Edit Copy, click on tag to make it active,

go to Edit, select all, Edit Paste ... Put your star line down in the position you like

You can add as many lines as you like.  I have added 4 to mine  

Save tag as a gif animation file.
