Luck of the Irish

 

 

 

This tutorial was written for those who

have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.

It was written by me on February 14, 2009 and comes from my own creativity.

Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidence

 

Supplies needed:

PSP 9 (any version will work)

 My St Patricks Day Scrap Kit - included in supplies

Tube of choice.   I am using the fantastic artwork of

Barbara Jensen.  You can purchase her work and a license to use it  Here

Mask sg_floral-grungeframe6 by Essex Girl - included in supplies

Font of choice

Plugin Needed:  Eye Candy 4000 Glass

 

Supplies:  Here

 

Open mask.  Minimize till later.

  Open a new image 600 X 600 pixels.  Flood fill with white

   Copy Paper of choice (I used paper 4).   Paste as a new layer.

Layers, New Mask Layer, from image, select the sg_floral-grungeframe6 by Essex Girl Mask
from the drop down and apply with invert mask data checked.
Mask, delete, Layers, Merge visible.

Copy StPatrickCorner1 and paste as a new layer.  Move to top left corner.  Duplicate
layer in the layer palette, Image, Mirror, Image, Flip.  X out all layers except these 2
corner layers, and merge visible.

Effects, Eye Candy 4000, Glass, as follows

 

 

Copy stpatel13 horseshoe, paste as a new layer.  Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, 0.0.40,10 black

Copy main tube of choice, paste as a new layer.  Drop shadow as above

Copy accessories of choice from scrap kit, (bows etc) resize, paste as a new layer. 
Light drop shadow of 0.0.40,10 on each layer

Add name

Resize all layers to 480 X 480 pixels

Add copyright layer.

That's it!  You're done
