Shamrocks and Clover

This tutorial was written for those who

have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.

It was written by me on March 4, 2009 and comes from my own creativity.

Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidence

Supplies needed:

PSP 9 (any version will work)

Tube of choice.   I am using the fantastic artwork of

Ismael Rac.  You can purchase his work and a license to use it  Here

Font of choice

Supplies: none provided

Open mask and minimize for now 

Open a new image 700 pixels wide by 700 pixels high, flood fill with white

Add a new layer, flood fill with color #008000

Layers, New Mask Layer from image, select the SL Clovers Daydream mask
from the drop down and apply with invert mask data not checked.
Mask, delete, Layers, Merge visible.

  Copy clover wreath sabre, paste as a new layer. 

With selection tool set on ellipse make a selection covering the inner area of the wreath

 Select, invert, delete.  Do not deselect

Drag this layer below frame layer

Change blend mode to soft light (in the layer palette on the right side side of layer)

Copy main tube, paste as a new layer.  Position where desired

Edit, 3 D Effects, Drop Shadow with these settings
4, 4, 60, 6, color black

Selections, float, Selections, defloat.  With the eraser tool erase the selected excess tube at the bottom only

Copy sabrebannerribbon1,paster as a new layer.  Resize by 90 percent.  Place as shown
Drop shadow as before

Open SL Clover flower, copy, paste as a new layer at bottom left as shown. Drag below ribbon layer.

Layer duplicate, mirror

Open SL Clover Dangle, copy, paste as a new layer as shown

Add St Patricks greeting and name

 Image, Resize all layers to 500 pixels by 500 pixels

Add copyright layer

That's it!  You're done
