Summer Twins

This tutorial was written for those who

have a working knowledge of PSP

Supplies needed:

PSP 12 (any version will work)

Tube of choice.  I am using the fantastic artwork of

Marco Guaglione.  You can purchase his work at MPT here

B_CircleGradient (included in supplies)

Free scrap kit “Barbi's Gone Dotti” from Jo at

A Taggers Scrap.  You can download it here

Thick Font of choice (I used Aardvark Bold - supplied)

Penta Filter color dot.  Free to download Here

Supplies:  HERE

Open tube and mask and minimize them for now.  Open scrap kit.

Open a transparent image 700 x 700 pixels and flood fill with white

New raster layer, flood fill with paper pattern 2

Layers, new mask layer from image, find the B Circle Gradient and apply.  Layer, delete, yes to the question. And merge group

Open template from the supplies, copy and paste as a new image.  Move a bit toward top.  See my tag  Click inside template with magic wand to select.  Selections, modify, expand by 2.  Open paper 7.  Lad into materials palette,  flood fill template.  Apply a light drop shadow.  I used 0,0,40,10

Open glitter doodle of choice.  I used glitterswirl4.  Place in left top corner, drag beneath frame.  Duplicate this layer and mirror.    Arrange doodles in left and right top beside template.  Drag below template layer. 

Select inside both sides of template with magic wand to select.  Selections, Modify, expand by 2. In materials palette set paint color on #ffff61.  Flood fill inside both parts of the template.  Set foreground on #b3212a,  With paint brush set on default round size 32, hardness 50, step 25, Density, thickness and Opacity all 100, Rotation O, paint a large Z shape in each circle

Adjust blur, Gaussian Blur, 43.  Effects, Penta, Color Dot, 90, 2, 255, 255, 255, Okay.  Drag below template layer.  

Open glitter dots 1, copy, paste as a new layer in bottom right corner, layer duplicate, image, mirror, image, flip

Open your tubes, resize and mirror if necessary. With frame layer active click inside right side circle with magic wand.  Copy, paste tube as a new layer.  See my tag for placement.  Selections, Invert, carefully erase excess tube at the bottom of frame.  The head should be above frame.  With the second tube choose image, mirror the second tube at the beginning, then do the same as you did for the first circle.     Drop Shadow same settings as before.

Open bow 4, copy and paste as a new layer.  Move to top of frame where circles meet.  Resize bow till it fits well.  Drop shadow as before.

Choose 2 contrasting flowers.  Copy, paste as a new layer.  Duplicate.  Copy paste second flower as a new layer.  Resize as needed.  Arrange where circles meet at the bottom (see my tag).  Same drop shadow as before on each layer.

Image Resize all layers to 525 x 525 pixels or size of choice

Choose a dark red from the tube as foreground color and null for the background.  Add name choosing size 72 and line width 1, create as a vector.  Resize if needed,  Selections, promote selection to layer.  With the magic wand click inside of each layer, load paper 7 into the materials palette foreground.  Flood fill each latter with the pattern.  Drop shadow as before.

Add copyright layer.
