This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro. It was written by me on January 7, 2009 and comes from my own creativity. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidence
Supplies needed: PSP X2 (any version will work) 4 tubes of choice by same artist. I am using the fantastic artwork of Keith Garvey. You can purchase his work and a license to use it Here Template #27 by Beth Get it Here WSL_Mask 311 by Chelle. Get it Here 2 fonts of choice (I used Impact and Kaufmann) Plugins: 3. Mura's Seamless Filters - Polkadot Unzip the plugins into your plugin folder

Open a new image 200 X 200 pixels. Flood fill with color #9e3a42 Effects, Plugins, Mura's, Seamless, Polkadot as follows
Export as a jpg to your images file
Open template. Duplicate and close out the original image. Open the polka dot background you just made. On the Layer Palette X out all the layers except the 3 black squares Select the first black square with the magic want tool, copy the polka dot background and paste as a new layer, use the move tool to place the polka dot paper above the selected square, selections, invert, selections, hit delete on keyboard. Delete the corresponding black square. Do the same with remaining two black squares. X out the 3 polka dot squares Un X the three gray squares. Select the first gray square with the magic want tool. Selections, Modify, Expand by 1, Flood fill with white. Do the next 2 gray squares the same With the magic wand select inside the first gray square, Selections, Modify, Expand by 2, Layers, add a new Raster Layer, flood fill with color #ffeff2, Drag this layer below the gray square layer. Do the same with each of the next 2 gray layers Open the four tubes that you will be using. Three of them you will use the face only and the fourth should be a laying down or sitting tube. Select inside the first gray square with the magic wand. Selections, Modify, Expand by 1. Copy first face tube, paste as a new layer. Move with the move tube into place, select, invert, hit del on keyboard. Deselect. Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow as follows.
On layer palette drag below gray square layer. Back to gray square layer, select the frame with magic wand, Effects, 3D Effect, Drop Shadow as above. Do the same with the second 2 tubes and gray squares. X out all layers In your material palette set your stroke color to color #ee9caa and fill color to #9e3a42 Open Stripes Layer. Duplicate this layer. X out the duplicate layer and select the first stripes layer With magic wand select the bottom, middle and top layers. Flood fill with the pink color. Deselect Select second and fourth layers, flood fill with red color. X out first stripes layer and select the duplicate stripes layer With magic wand select the bottom, middle and top layers. Flood fill with the red color. Deselect Select second and fourth layers, flood fill with pink color. X out these layers Open the lips layer. Select with magic wand. Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 3.1 Glass as follows
Open main tube, resize if necessary, copy, paste as a new layer. Drop Shadow as before. Select the bottom (credits) layer. Add a new layer. Flood fill with white. Add another layer, flood fill with color #ffd1da Layers, New Mask Layer from Image, find the WSL_311Mask, Invert mask data not selected and click ok. Mask delete. Merge Layers visible Effects, Plugins, Photo Effex, Scanlines at the default settings Use the given word art (enlarge to select) and flood fill with color of choice or make your own as I did Add copyright information Add name. I used red as in tutorial, font Kaufmann at 48 Open Animation Shop Back in Paint Shop X out the second Layer of stripes, the template credit layer, and the heart layer. Edit, Copy Merged. Over to Animation Shop, Paste as a new animation. Back to Paint Shop X out the first layer of stripes and Un X the second layer, Edit, Copy Merged. Over to Animation shop, Paste after current frame. View, Animation. If satisfied save as a gif image. That's it! You're Done Hope you enjoyed this tutorial
