Hawaiian Sweetheart

This tutorial was written for those who

have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.

It was written by me on January 24, 2009 and comes from my own creativity.

Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidence

Supplies needed:

PSP 9 (any version will work)

 PTU Scrap Kit  "My Kuuipo" by Alane at Inspired to Dream Scraps.   Purchase it Here

Main tube of choice.  I used the stunning artwork of Jennifer Janesko.  You can purchase

her tubes and a license to use them Here

Font of choice

Open mask and tube in paint shop and minimize for now

  Open a new image 600 X 600 pixels.  Flood fill with white

   Copy Paper of choice, Resize.   Paste as a new layer.

Layers, New Mask Layer, from image, select the MontisBlindsMask1 from the drop down and apply with invert mask data checked.
Mask, delete, Layers, Merge visible.

Duplicate this layer, Image, Flip

Copy heart 05, resize by 50 percent. paste as a new layer. 

Copy heart 03, resize by 50 percent, then by 80 percent 2 times.  Paste as a new layer in center of first heart

With preset shapes on heart 1, stroke width 1, stroke color white, fill NULL, draw out a heart approx the size of the larger heart.
Objects, Align, Center in canvas.  Drag the handles out if needed to fit heart frame  Click in center with magic wand tool to select.

Copy main tube, paste as a new layer, resize if needed.  Selections, Invert, Selections, float,
Selections, Defloat, erase excess tube at the bottom.  Deselect.  Delete vector circle layer.
Effects, 3D effects, Drop Shadow.  Light drop shadow of 0,0,40,10

Copy doodle of choice, resize, paste as a new layer.  Duplicate, Image, flip or as desired.  Move into place

Copy accessories of choice from scrap kit, resize, paste as a new layer.  Light drop shadow of 0.0.40,10 on each layer

Add name

Resize all layers to 500 X 500 pixels

Add copyright layer.

That's it!  You're done
