My Kuuipo (My Sweetheart)
This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro. It was written by me on January 24, 2009 and comes from my own creativity. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidence
Supplies needed: PSP 9 (any version will work) Scrap Kit "My Kuuipo Add On Kit" by Alane at Inspired to Dream Scraps. Purchase it Here Tube of choice. I am using the fantastic artwork of Keith Garvey. You can purchase his work and a license to use it Here Masks Mygausblur and Yarrows edge mask 2 (supplied) Font of choice
Supplies: Here
Open scrap kit and mask on your desk top. Minimize mask till later. Open a new image 600 X 600 pixels. Flood fill with white Copy Paper of choice (I used paper 16). Paste as a new layer.
Layers, New Mask Layer, from image, select the
MyGausBlur Mask from the
drop down and apply with invert mask data checked. With this layer still selected, Layers, New Mask Layer, from image, select the Edge Mask from the drop down and apply with invert mask data not checked. Mask, delete, Layers, Merge visible. Copy lace frame, paste as a new layer. Resize this layer only to 500 X 500 pixels
With preset shapes on ellipse, stroke width 60,
stroke color #ffaec8, fill NULL, draw out a circle slightly smaller
than the lace frame Resize ribbon wrap to 500 X 286 pixels, copy, paste as a new layer Open heart 3, Adjust hue and saturation, colorize, Hue 243 Saturation 192. Resize by 50% three times, Copy, paste as a new layer at center top of lace frame (see mine) Duplicate, Image Flip. Copy, paste on left side of lace frame. Duplicate, Image Mirror Select pink frame layer, copy, paste main tube. Resize if needed. Move into place as shown on my tag, selections, invert, selections, float, selections, defloat, using eraser tool erase all excess at bottom of tube - top should be okay as is Copy accessories of choice from scrap kit, resize, paste as a new layer. Light drop shadow of 0.0.40,10 on each layer Add name Resize all layers to 500 X 500 pixels Add copyright layer. That's it! You're done Thank you for trying my tutorial
